The Council of the Technical Engineering College for Oil and Energy / Al-Muthanna, one of the formations of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, held its eleventh open session for the academic year 2025–2026, chaired by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Sadiq Hassan Al-Louzi, with the attendance of the Council members, to discuss the results of the second-round examinations and preparations for the new academic year.
Dr. Al-Louzi commenced the session by conveying the greetings and directives of the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, commending the efforts of the examination committees and the teaching and administrative staff in organizing and completing the examinations.
The Council addressed the procedures for auditing the results in preparation for their official announcement, in addition to discussing the readiness of the scientific departments, the preparation of classrooms and laboratories, the organization of study schedules, and the provision of educational supplies, with emphasis on adherence to lecture timings and the regularity of students’ attendance in accordance with the prevailing ministerial instructions.
On the level of supplying the College with teaching competencies, the Council reviewed the procedures of the committee concerned with interviews of applicants for employment as external lecturers and the mechanisms of selection according to specialization, certificate, and fulfilment of the announced conditions.
At the conclusion of the session, Dr. Al-Louzi emphasized the necessity of continuing efforts to advance the College’s level of performance and enhance its educational and administrative trajectory.
