The Council of the Technical Engineering College for Oil and Energy / Al-Muthanna concluded its tenth open session for the academic year 2025–2026, chaired by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Sadiq Hassan Al-Lozi, and attended by council members.
The Dean opened the session by welcoming the attendees, conveying the greetings of the President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi. He emphasized the importance of early preparation for the upcoming phase and working as one team to ensure the success of the college’s future plans.
Key discussion points and resolutions of the session:
🔸 Review of examination results and success rates, and approval of a mechanism for distributing results to students through the academic departments first, then completing their upload via the HEPIQ application in accordance with ministerial instructions.
🔸 Summer training for second-year students, approval of scientific supervisors, and identification of suitable training sites for students, to provide practical training that aligns with labor market requirements.
🔸 Summer leaves: Organizing summer leaves for staff to ensure work continuity and smooth workflow.
🔸 Discussion on adopting the Bubble Sheet system in examinations in the future, pending official approvals.
At the conclusion of the session, the College Council commended the efforts of the examination committees and supporting committees in making the final examinations a success. It also emphasized the importance of continuing early preparation for the next academic year to achieve the college’s goals and elevate the quality of its outputs.
