Students of the Technical Engineering College for Oil and Energy / Al-Muthanna, one of the formations of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, commenced today, Sunday, 20 September 2026, their official attendance for the academic year 2026–2027, in accordance with the timings approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Within the framework of field follow-up of the commencement of attendance, Assistant Professor Dr. Sadiq Hassan Al-Louzi, Dean of the College, conducted an inspection tour of the classrooms and met with the students, congratulating them on the start of the academic year and emphasizing the importance of regular attendance and compliance with university instructions.
The Dean also urged the students to be diligent, serious, and hardworking, and to benefit from lectures and scientific and training activities, in a manner that contributes to supporting their academic achievement and developing their specialized skills.
The commencement of attendance comes within the framework of the vision of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University to consolidate technical education and prepare qualified students possessing the knowledge and skills necessary to build their professional future.
