The Council of the Technical Engineering College for Oil and Energy – Al-Muthanna convened its tenth open session for the academic year 2025–2026, chaired by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Sadiq Hassan Al-Lawzi, and attended by the esteemed members of the Council.
During the session, the Council discussed a number of agenda items, most notably:
🔹 Monitoring the progress of the second-semester examinations for first-stage students following their commencement, reviewing the approved regulatory procedures to ensure the smooth and orderly conduct of examinations, and providing appropriate conditions for students.
🔹 Discussing preparations for the summer course and its organizational mechanisms, as well as determining the approved schedules to ensure the proper functioning of the educational process and the achievement of the intended academic benefits for students.
🔹 Examining the necessary arrangements for holding the Industrial Advisory Council meeting, scheduled to take place at the College, and the themes to be addressed during it, thereby contributing to strengthening cooperation with industrial sectors and benefiting from their expertise and perspectives in the development of academic programmes.
🔹 Following up on the procedures for issuing the College’s scientific journal and completing the requirements for its launch in accordance with approved scientific standards and criteria.
During the meeting, His Excellency the Dean emphasized the importance of adhering to ministerial and university instructions, working to overcome obstacles that students may encounter, and providing a supportive educational environment that contributes to raising academic standards and improving the College’s outcomes.
At the conclusion of the session, Council members stressed the need to continue efforts aimed at developing academic and administrative performance, in alignment with the College’s objectives and future aspirations.
